A warm welcome to our newest Account Manager at Dallas office, Alex C.!
Team Member: Alex C., Account Manager, Dallas office.
Background: I am a recent graduate from the University of North Texas. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Marketing. Today is my first day on the job at Creatuity, and this is my first full-time job after college!
Alex, how long have you been working in eCommerce and development?
This is my first job in eCommerce, as well as my first job out of school. I have, however, been studying the area of eCommerce for the past year.
With that in mind, what drew you to working in eCommerce and development?
eCommerce is an area that pretty much every business – or everyone, for that matter –
needs to succeed in today’s world. The Internet and the Web allow us endless
possibilities, and it’s a field in which I’m going to be learning constantly. It always
seems to be new, interesting, and exciting.
Do you have any particular skills you’d like to share?
In addition to providing customer service, I’m relatively familiar with coding for frontend
web development, including HTML and CSS. Although I’m pretty new to the
languages, I’ve spent a good amount of time learning basics and a few more
advanced techniques. Knowing the basics of the code helps me as an account
manager in that I can relate to both clients and developers at the same time, allowing
me to be a better bridge for communication between the two.
What’s your favorite part about working at Creatuity?
It may be my first day at Creatuity, but I’m already excited about working here. We
really put an emphasis on the company’s culture, and everyone is supportive and
friendly. Everyone seems to push each other to learn and help each other in any way
possible. I’ve felt very welcomed on my first day, and I can’t wait to get to know
everyone in the office better!
Any of hobbies or things you love to do when you’re not working?
When I’m not at work, I really enjoy hanging out with my friends. My friends and family
are probably the most important part of my life, so I do as much as I can with them
when I can. When I’m not doing that, I like to listen/play music, watch TV shows and
movies (I LOVE NETFLIX), or play video games. I’m also in the process of teaching
myself HTML, CSS, and other programming languages for front-end web design and
Finally, any fun facts about you we can share?
I play the saxophone and guitar. I’m also a fourth-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do,
which I started when I was five years old.
