This article is out of date. This pricing was discontinued in 2015. Please see our newer article about 2016 Magento 2.0 Enterprise Edition pricing.
There has been a lot of buzz in the Magento community recently about the Magento price increase for Enterprise Edition. Magento has announced a slight price increase (approximately 15%) for the Enterprise Edition, effective May 23, 2014. If you are considering purchasing Magento EE, or are up for a Magento EE license renewal later this year, you can take advantage of the current pricing by purchasing/renewing no later than May 22, 2014.
Even with this Magento price increase, it should be noted that Magento’s ROI is still outstanding (around 157% according to a recent Forrester study). We like that Magento is showing a continuing dedication to supporting EE and adding new features. Version 1.13 brought about amazing enhancements (like lightening fast performance) and we hear rumors that 1.14 is going to amaze us even more!
Below is the new pricing structure as shared with the Magento Partners in a recent webinar:
Current Magento EE store owners should contact your Magento Account Manager for information about renewing, deadline to renew, and payment details.
If you are considering building a new Magento EE store, now may be the perfect time. As long as the license is paid in full by May 22nd, you can push your start date back as far as July 1st, and still take advantage of the lower pricing. Give me a call, and I’ll expedite everything here on our end to ensure that you can meet these deadlines, and get an amazing new Magento EE store launched ASAP.
