Creatuity Gains 9 More Horizon Interactive Awards

“The Horizon Interactive Award winners for 2019 (based on work in 2018) have been announced! Not only did we win twice as many awards as last year, we won our first two Gold awards, and the Distinguished Agency award for the 2nd year in a row.” – Joshua Warren, Creatuity CEO and founder

The 17th annual Horizon Interactive Awards 2018 competition has come to a close with winners announced in early April. Creatuity won a Distinctive Agency award for the 2nd consecutive year, along with two gold awards, two silver awards and five bronze awards.

The international competition, which began in 2001 and received over 800 entries from around the world this year, “recognizes promotes and awards the best web sites, videos, online advertising, print media and mobile applications,” says the Horizon Interactive Awards website.

According the rules featured on the site, “works entered must have been produced in the last 2 years OR have never been entered in the competition previously. Previous entries and even previous winners may be entered in future competition(s) if they are unchanged and entered into different categories OR if they have changed significantly (i.e. re-designed) may be entered into the same category(s). “

There is a $55 entry fee per category entered. The awards given out include, gold, silver, bronze, “Best of Show,” “Best of Category” and “Distinguished Agency.” Gold winners typically the top 10% if each category, with the “Best of Category” winner chosen from the Gold winners. As the name implies, their is only one “Best of Category” award given per category. The “Best of Show” winner is the Horizon Interactive Awards highest level of praise, with only one given out per competition. The “Distinguished Agency” award is given to any agency/developer who enters and wins four or more awards.

Creatuity entered in the e-commerce and shopping website category. The projects in this group “highlight the online shopping experience,” and are “evaluated on the effectiveness of the sales process (ease of use), technical merit, overall user interface, content development and aesthetics.”

Judging is split into 5 criterion: UX/Design, Creativity, Technical, Message and Effectiveness. The judges are a volunteer based jury. Below is a list of the awards Creatuity earned, in their respective categories:
